Britannic

The H.M.H.S. Britannic was the sister ship to the infamous R.M.S. Titanic. It was going to be more grand and luscious than Titanic was. Then the bad news came. The Britannic was being requishioned as a hospital ship. But after 11 months in service, while sailing through dangerous waters, the ship either struck a single mine or was torrpedoed. To this day we still don't know which. It sank on November 21, 1916.

Titanic

The ship "Titanic" was a White Star liner, built from 1909 through 1911 and sailed on its maiden voyage April 10th 1912. About five days into the voyage, at 11:15 at night, the ill fated Titanic struck an iceberg. Three hours later, at 2:21 a.m., on the morning of April 15th, the Titanic sank two and a half miles into the icy Atlantic, taking 1,517 people with her.

I found my passion in shipwrecks through years of studying the R.M.S. Titanic. I first found an interest in her in the second grade. I am in the summer vacation before going into the ninth grade.
